Planning the trip

When we started talking about going to Alaska, it seemed like it was so far off in the future that we didn't need to worry about it! We made the obvious plans, campground reservations at Denali and stuff like that. But for the last 2 months we have been meeting every other Tuesday to plan out our route and figure out what we want to do along the way. Here is a picture of us with all our books, maps and campground guides. Three of us are driving the whole way (Bill, me and Ditto) and Geoff is flying up and joining us for 2 weeks in Alaska. We are taking 9 dogs in the two RVs, and Geoff is bringing a borrowed height dog with him on the plane... we can't wait to go!
